About the Role

Modivcare is hiring Customer Service Representatives to work from home in New Jersey. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for members who need help with transportation services related to their healthcare needs.

You will handle inbound calls, schedule and modify reservations, answer service questions, and ensure every interaction is documented accurately using provided scripts and systems.

If you enjoy helping people, can handle high call volumes, and are comfortable working in a structured contact center environment, this role is a great fit.

Important: Applicants must currently live in New Jersey.

Work From Home Requirements

• Internet speed of at least 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload
• Ability to hardwire directly to modem
• Dedicated, private workspace
• Must attend 100% of training on camera for the first 30 days

Key Responsibilities

• Handle up to 100+ inbound calls per day
• Schedule, modify, and cancel transportation reservations
• Accurately document trip and member details
• Educate members about services and insurance coverage
• Follow structured scripts and company procedures
• Escalate unresolved concerns to the appropriate department
• Work across multiple systems while speaking with members
• Support a 24/7 contact center (may include weekends/holidays)

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 0–2 years experience (entry level friendly)
• 6+ months customer service or call center experience preferred
• Typing speed of 35 WPM
• Strong English communication (written and verbal)
• Comfortable multitasking while talking and typing
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and do overtime if required
