Odyssey is hiring a Remote Support Specialist to help families, schools, and vendors navigate education savings programs across the United States.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer support experience who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced remote environment.
Odyssey operates at the intersection of GovTech, EdTech, and FinTech, helping states launch and manage large-scale education funding programs for families.
What You’ll Be Working On
As a Support Specialist, you’ll be part of the frontline support team assisting parents, students, schools, and vendors through phone, email, SMS, and chat support.
You’ll help customers resolve issues, understand program details, and ensure a smooth support experience while working closely with internal teams.
What You’ll Do
- Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, SMS, and chat
- Resolve support issues and escalate complex cases when needed
- Guide customers through ESA and microgrant program-related questions
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
- Work with team members to improve customer support processes
- Meet response-time and performance goals
- Stay updated on company policies and product knowledge
- Deliver a positive and professional customer experience
Requirements
- 3+ years of customer support experience
- Experience with Zendesk or similar support platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Experience using customer support software and tools
- Fluent English communication skills
- Spanish language skills are a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
