✨ What you’ll be working on

Magic Eden is hiring Operations Associates with deep sportsbook knowledge to support players in a fast-paced Web3 sports betting environment.

This is a remote sportsbook support role for candidates who understand how sports betting works — bet types, settlement logic, wagering behavior, and crypto transactions.

You’ll assist players with bet-related questions, account issues, deposits and withdrawals, and ensure smooth operations during high-volume sporting events.

Important: This role primarily covers late APAC and EU hours, including weekends during major sporting events.

This role is ideal for candidates experienced in sportsbook support, betting operations, or wagering platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality support to players for sportsbook-related issues
• Troubleshoot deposits, withdrawals, bet settlements, voids, and promotional credits
• Help players understand bet types (singles, parlays, accumulators) and settlement rules
• Escalate edge cases to trading, risk, product, and engineering teams
• Maintain internal logs, tools, spreadsheets, and documentation
• Improve help center articles and internal SOPs for sportsbook operations
• Monitor player sentiment and identify UX improvement opportunities
• Support high-traffic events with fast and accurate communication
• Adapt to a dynamic startup environment and take on additional tasks when needed

Work From Home Requirements

• Comfortable working late APAC / EU timezone hours
• Available during weekends and major sporting events
• Reliable internet and dedicated workspace
• Comfortable using internal dashboards, tools, and operational systems

Requirements

• Deep familiarity with online sportsbooks and sports wagering mechanics
• Strong understanding of:
  • Pre-match and live/in-play betting
  • Parlays, accumulators, teasers
  • Bet settlement logic (pushes, voids, partial payouts, abandoned matches)
• Comfortable diagnosing crypto deposits and withdrawals using blockchain explorers
• Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Experience in customer support, community ops, or sportsbook operations preferred
• Adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment
