What You’ll Be Doing
Technical Support
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Responding to help desk tickets and technical support calls from pharmacies.
- Troubleshooting computers, printers, interfaces, and networking equipment.
- Diagnosing hardware and software problems and finding practical solutions.
- Documenting support activities and customer interactions accurately.
- Working with the support team when an issue needs additional technical expertise.
Help Pharmacy Teams Get More From Their Technology
You’ll also work directly with pharmacy staff to:
- Recommend useful technology or configuration improvements.
- Help users understand software applications and hardware.
- Provide training when needed.
- Explain technical problems in a way that’s easy for non-technical users to understand.
- Make sure customers have a positive support experience.
Improve Support Over Time
It’s not just about fixing the same problem every time it happens.
You’ll help identify recurring technical issues, suggest longer-term solutions, and take part in team meetings and training to keep your skills and product knowledge up to date.
What They’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1โ5 years of experience in IT systems, installation, application support, or a similar technical support environment.
- Experience working in a remote IT help desk or customer-facing technical support role is preferred.
- Healthcare or pharmacy technology experience is a plus.
Technical Skills
You should be comfortable working with:
- Computers and standard office equipment.
- Printers and related hardware.
- Networking equipment used in small business environments.
- Microsoft Teams and phone-based support.
- Basic security practices for protecting sensitive healthcare information.
You should also be able to learn new technologies and products quickly.
