✨ What you’ll be working on
Fresh Prints is hiring an Order Processing Associate for a remote role based in India. If you’ve worked in operations, logistics, or order management and you’re good at keeping things moving under pressure, this could be a solid fit.
This role sits inside the company’s Order Processing team, which plays a big part in making sure customer orders are delivered correctly and on time. You won’t just be checking boxes or updating spreadsheets all day — you’ll be handling real order challenges, coordinating with multiple people, and solving day-to-day operational issues that directly affect delivery timelines and revenue.
If you like fast-moving work, problem-solving, and being trusted to manage things without constant hand-holding, this role is worth a look.
About the Company
Fresh Prints is a New York-based custom apparel startup that works with student entrepreneurs across schools and campuses. The company helps students run merchandise businesses at their schools by giving them the tools, support, and training to grow.
Behind the scenes, Fresh Prints handles a large volume of custom apparel orders, and the operations team plays a big role in making sure those orders move smoothly from request to delivery.
About the Role
As an Order Processing Associate, you’ll be part of the team responsible for managing orders after they come in and helping make sure everything is delivered the right way and on time.
You’ll report to an Operations Manager and work on a different set of orders each day. Some orders will be simple. Others may come with delays, vendor issues, timeline pressure, or coordination problems that need quick thinking and a practical solution.
This is a role for someone who can stay organized, handle moving parts, and make smart decisions without needing constant supervision. You’ll have ownership over the orders assigned to you and will be expected to keep things on track from start to finish.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Process the orders assigned to you accurately and on time
- Handle day-to-day order and logistics issues by finding practical solutions quickly
- Coordinate with campus managers, clients, vendors, decorators, and internal teams to keep orders moving smoothly
- Track timelines and make sure everyone involved is aligned on delivery expectations
- Work through urgent or complicated orders where turnaround time, cost, or coordination becomes a challenge
- Support projects, campaigns, or operations tasks whenever needed
- Help reduce delays, avoid mistakes, and improve the overall order flow
What They’re Looking For
Required
- 2 to 6 years of experience in operations, logistics, order processing, or a related role
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work on complex tasks under tight deadlines
- Comfortable making decisions independently without constant supervision
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to coordinate with different stakeholders clearly and professionally
You’ll likely do well in this role if you are:
- Detail-oriented and careful with order-related work
- Goal-driven and serious about deadlines
- Proactive and willing to take ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do
- Comfortable handling challenges and solving problems as they come up
- Able to stay calm and productive when timelines get tight
- Open to change, feedback, and process improvements
Why This Role Stands Out
This isn’t one of those remote operations jobs where you’re just doing repetitive backend work all day.
Fresh Prints is looking for someone who can actually think through order problems, coordinate across multiple people, and keep things moving when timelines or logistics get messy. If you enjoy operations work that needs judgment, speed, and ownership, this role has more substance than a basic support-style job.
It’s especially worth considering if you want:
- a remote operations role in India
- more ownership over your work
- exposure to logistics and order management in a fast-growing startup
- a role where your decisions can directly affect delivery, customer experience, and business performance
Benefits
- Health insurance
- Learning opportunities
- Remote work setup
- A chance to work inside a growing startup environment
