✨ What you’ll be working on
Quickbase is hiring a remote Technical Consultant in India to help customers implement Quickbase, automate workflows, solve business process problems, and get faster value from the platform.
This is the kind of role that sits between technical consulting, solution building, customer onboarding, and process improvement. You won’t just explain the product you’ll actively help customers build with it, design workflows, solve operational problems, and make sure Quickbase is set up in a way that actually works long term.
If your background leans toward technical consulting, SaaS implementation, customer-facing solution work, automation, or business systems support, this one is worth a serious look.
About Quickbase
Quickbase is a work management and application platform that helps companies build custom workflows, improve business processes, and automate manual work without needing traditional heavy software development for every use case.
In simple terms, companies use Quickbase when they want to fix messy workflows, connect teams, improve visibility, and build internal tools faster.
The company’s pitch here is pretty straightforward: they want someone who can help customers not just buy the platform, but actually use it well, build with it properly, and see value faster.
What this role is really about
As a Technical Consultant, your job is to help customers turn Quickbase into something useful for their actual business problems.
That means you’ll work directly with customers to understand how their teams operate, what processes are slow or broken, and where Quickbase can improve the workflow. From there, you’ll help design solutions, support implementation, recommend best practices, and guide customers through building or improving apps inside the platform.
This isn’t a pure support role and it’s not just a generic implementation coordinator role either.
It sits in the middle of:
- technical consulting
- customer onboarding / customer adoption
- workflow automation
- solution design
- business process improvement
- customer enablement
You’ll also work closely with Sales and Customer Experience teams, which means the role has both a delivery side and a relationship side.
What you’ll be working on
In simple terms, your role is to help customers get up and running with Quickbase faster and in a way that actually solves real business problems.
You’ll work with new and existing customers, help them plan and implement Quickbase solutions, share best practices, guide them through technical and functional setup, and support them as they build workflows inside the platform.
You’ll also be expected to think like a consultant, not just a builder.
That means understanding what the customer is trying to achieve, spotting opportunities where Quickbase can add more value, helping customers become self-sufficient over time, and feeding useful product insights back to Quickbase internally.
This role sits in the middle of customer consulting + SaaS implementation + workflow automation + product adoption + business process problem-solving.
What you’ll be doing
Here’s what the day-to-day work will likely look like:
- Work directly with customers to help them implement Quickbase for real business use cases
- Support both new customer onboarding and improvements for existing customer accounts
- Understand how a customer’s workflow, process, or business problem currently works before proposing a solution
- Build or help design Quickbase applications, workflows, and automations based on customer needs
- Recommend best practices for how Quickbase should be set up inside a customer’s broader IT and operational environment
- Help reduce time-to-value by getting customers to a usable, working solution faster
- Coach and enable new Quickbase builders so customers can continue building after the initial implementation
- Identify customer goals, define success metrics, and help customers track whether Quickbase is delivering value
- Work with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams, including leadership, operations, and day-to-day users
- Support customers with workflow automation, application design, and process optimization
- Make sure implementations account for security, technical, operational, and policy concerns
- Build trusted relationships with customers so you become a go-to advisor rather than just a one-time implementer
- Surface product feedback and customer observations back to Quickbase teams when you notice recurring issues or opportunities
What Quickbase is looking for
Quickbase is looking for someone who can balance technical thinking, business process understanding, and customer-facing consulting skills.
You’ll likely be a strong fit if you have:
- 2–5+ years of experience delivering technical solutions in software services, engineering, support, or software sales environments
- Experience helping customers solve business problems through technology implementation or consulting
- Curiosity about business processes, with some experience improving, simplifying, or automating them
- Comfort working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience building or designing solutions in Quickbase, or the ability to ramp up quickly if your background is adjacent
- Experience working with relational databases, SaaS integrations, APIs, or enterprise software systems
- An understanding of how to define success through KPIs, customer goals, or business metrics
- Strong communication skills across calls, workshops, demos, planning conversations, and written documentation
- Enough patience and emotional intelligence to work with different kinds of customers without making the process harder than it needs to be
Skills and background that matter here
Based on the listing, the strongest fit will probably be someone with a mix of these:
- Technical consulting / implementation experience
- Workflow automation or business systems work
- Quickbase building experience or similar no-code / low-code platform experience
- Relational database knowledge
- API and integration familiarity
- Experience with ERP systems or enterprise tools
- Customer-facing communication experience across both delivery and consulting
- Confidence presenting ideas, explaining tradeoffs, and guiding customers toward the best setup
- A practical mindset around helping customers solve the problem in front of them, not just shipping a generic setup
