How to use the feed

  1. Open the XML feed URL above.
  2. Fetch the feed from your application or job-board system.
  3. Parse the XML and read the available job fields.
  4. Use the <id> to help identify listings you've already imported.
  5. Refresh the feed regularly to check for new or updated listings.

The feed is generated from published Remote4Me job listings. It is designed to update automatically as listings change. Expired jobs are excluded according to the expiry information stored in WordPress.

A few simple rules

We want the feed to be useful for everyone, so please keep these points in mind:

  • Keep the original job link: The <url> field points to the job's page on Remote4Me. Please use that URL when displaying or referencing a listing.
  • Don't invent details: If a salary, location, or other field is missing, leave it unspecified rather than guessing.
  • Keep listings up to date: Refresh your imported data regularly and remove listings that are no longer present in the current feed.
  • Don't misrepresent jobs: Preserve the meaning of the listing and clearly identify Remote4Me as the source.
  • Respect the content: Don't use the feed to mislead job seekers, disguise the original source, or imply an employer relationship that doesn't exist.
Note: The feed provides public listing data. It does not provide employer application emails or direct employer application URLs.

Frequently asked questions

Is the XML feed free?

Yes. The public feed is currently available without an account or API key.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can access the feed directly through the URL above.

Does the feed update automatically?

The feed is generated from current published listings, so changes in WordPress are reflected automatically. Caching may mean a recent change takes a few minutes to appear.

Can I display these jobs on my own website?

You can use the feed to retrieve and process public job data. Please preserve the Remote4Me job URL, identify the source, and follow the usage rules above. Access to the feed does not guarantee permission to republish full descriptions or other content in every context.

Does the feed include every job on the internet?

No. It contains eligible job listings published on Remote4Me, not a complete database of jobs from other websites.

Is this the same as the JSON API?

No. The XML feed returns XML data, while our JSON API returns JSON. Choose whichever format fits your system.
